Loans and Hire Purchase
Bristol Finance offers a range of loan and hire purchase accounts to suit most budgets and most situations.
Whether you are a new customer or an existing customer, we aim to provide you with what you want within 24 hours - or quicker if at all possible.
Our cash loan terms can be for as little as 14 weeks or as long as 10 months, and the amount available can be from £30 to £1,000, although each account will be tailored to the customer's own situation.
Examples of our terms for a £100 loan are:
Total Weekly APR*
24 Week Account £144.00 £ 6.00 401.4
31 Week Account £155.00 £ 5.00 365.1
Other terms are available - please contact us.
Most of our customers choose our 31 week plan and therefore our Representative rate is 365.1% APR*
* APR's are a valuable regulatory tool by which to compare the cost of different forms of credit. However they can lead to some confusion, particularly in connection with short-term finance. For clarification purposes we would like to stress that, for example, the interest rate charged on a loan over 31 weeks is 55%, and that the total amount payable on a £100 loan will be no more than £155.00.
Bristol Finance is not limited to just offering cash loans.
Through our wholesalers and dealers we can supply most household electrical items, furniture and carpets at very competitive prices. The interest charged is much less than cash loans, and these accounts tend to be for 50 weeks.
A typical example might be:
An account to purchase a £400 television would be repayable by 50 weekly payments of £11.20, APR 107.1. The total repayable would be £560.00.
Written quotations are available on request.
Bristol Finance recommends that customers do not enter into a credit agreement until proper consideration has been given to their ability to repay that commitment.
